Site Manger- Goulburn West

**Vestas have an opening for a safety minded and client focused Site Manager in the Goulburn West region to help contribute to the energy delivery targets and everyday running of our wind farms. You will be working with the individual Site Supervisors to achieve the designated targets and maintain the regular servicing schedules of our platforms.**

The Vestas Wind Service division provides maintenance and scheduled services to our products on client owned properties. These wind farms are required to meet agreed KPI's regarding output, down time, running cost and safety/environmental responsibilities.

As a Site Manager, you will manage the individual Wind Farms and their respective Site Supervisors to ensure these agreed KPI's are met. Your focus as the successful applicant will be to manage and support on-site service capabilities, creating a customer focused culture and maximizing profitability in line within Vestas Business objectives.

**Responsibilities**

As Site Manager, you will be responsible to engage in the operation and maintenance of Wind Turbine Generators and the supervision and coordination of selected wind farm sites. You will be engaged in technical problem solving, maintain site budgets, promote operational efficiency, and manage customer accounts and service contracts.

In this position you will use your skills and experience to supervise and develop teams that model Vestas values and produce high-level results against key performance indicators and operational goals.

Key accountabilities include safety leadership, operational fluidity/achievement, and financial performance.

Other responsibilities to succeed in this position include;

- Keeping operational goals
- Engaging and motivating site team that produces high-level results against Key Performance Indicators and Operational Goals
- Determining coverage for on-calls during work hours (weekends and overtime)
- Responsible for the management, effectiveness and efficiency of site assets (vehicles, equipment, tools, office, etc.)
- Select and retain team-members / leaders
- Identify and involve business stakeholders
- May be responsible for department budget
- May be involved in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers and internal partners
- May be involved in Customer Account Management

**Qualifications**
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree/trade or similar
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

**Competencies**
- Experience in industries or technologies such as hydraulic, rotating heavy equipment service and maintenance is an advantage
- Good coordination skills
- Knowledge about contact management and maintaining budgets
- Quality consciousness in your working methods
- The ability to stay professional in a time-sensitive setting
- The ability to motivate your team and significant communication skills
- Great in collaboration and conflict management
- Thrive with planning daily work, documentation, and reporting
- Proven ability to achieve customer loyalty through effective relationships and demonstration of value differentiation
- Valid driving license
