**The Company**

Skimmer Lids is a Yatala Queensland based speciality manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of a patented, high quality swimming pool-related product currently being distributed throughout Australia, USA, UK, Europe, and South America. Due to the release of a new drainage solution product and increasing demand we are looking for a full-time Technical Account Manager to service our Victoria and South Australia clients.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the General Manager, this newly created role will look after our regional and city clients in Victoria and South Australia.

This role will involve considerable amount of time on the road throughout Victoria and South Australia for regular face to face meetings with our clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to use your experience in the landscaping or pool industry by joining Skimmer Lids as a Technical Account Manager. You will be developing and building relationships within the industry to maintain and build sales opportunities while also providing technical advice and support on our products and installation.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Develop and grow our current network of distribution channels and identify areas of significant opportunity throughout Victoria and South Australia.
- Travel throughout Victoria and South Australia to maintain existing client relationships and grow new client data base.
- Resourcing, developing and recording throughout Victoria and South Australia a trade and contractors data base for marketing and product awareness
- Develop regular call plans for both targeted and existing customers, update the CRM on activities and key client information in a timely manner
- Building and maintaining excellent client relationships at multiple levels and disciplines by providing exceptional customer service and technical support relating to products, installations, pricing, service, and technical information
- Attend Trade Shows and relevant events throughout Australia.
- Ensure efficient and timely customer service, as well as reporting.
- Understand the products and be prepared and willing to help resolve any technical issues and answer any questions required
- Undertaking a hands-on role as required by onsite assistance at installation of products (linear drains, access covers, Skimmer Lids, etc.)
- Solving complex problems and developing practical solutions by providing technical on-site support and assistance.

**You will have**:

- Strong customer service ethics
- Previous experience in tiling, landscaping, pool building, drainage industry is highly desirable
- Confidence to knock on doors and chase sales
- Good communication skills
- The ability to build and maintain business relationships
- Have a high level of self-motivation and follow up
- Be highly personable and well presented
- Hold a current drivers license and willingness to travel
- Have somewhere to store the company vehicle securely.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
