**About The Role**:
The Group Controller connects all Grocery Managers in our stores, ensuring data alignment for:

- Departments, Categories, and Commodities
- PLU numbers and descriptions
- Suppliers
- Promotions

The benefits are going to be enormous for the business and take away some of the daily Grocery Manager activities conducted at store level. This is a significant change to the business and done properly will be a game changer for us. As such we are now seeking to fill the role of Merchandising Data Coordinator.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Creation and management of PLU’s
- Creation and management of Department, Categories and Commodities
- Creation and management of suppliers
- Host File Management - pricing and product review
- Instore & managers specials
- Price Management of Fresh items

**Skills & Experience**:
To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate (but not limited to) the following:

- Knowledge of the Grocery industry mandatory
- A good understanding of the Grocery Manager operating system
- Excellent Excel and Word skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks with good time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to analyse and manage significant amounts of data
