Seeking an experienced Capital Project Officer role with local government exposure, working with a high performing and supportive team in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs.

To assist in the successful delivery of Council's Civil Capital Works Program, through high standard project management, program planning and delivery, monitoring and reporting, contract management and procurement.

**You will be responsible for;**
- Coordinate, plan, manage and deliver assigned capital works projects in consultation with the relevant business units of Council.
- Manage internal and external communication processes during the delivery of any capital works projects.
- Supervise and report on works being undertaken by contractors to ensure capital works projects are being delivered in an effective and efficient manner.
- Manage and monitor budgets for all assigned capital works projects and coordinate all financial

- Tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, building or equivalent with some project management experience, or lesser formal qualification with substantial experience in project management and contract management.
- Experience in managing civil and building contracts as they relate to Local Government.
- Experience in project management and in the implementation of capital works projects particularly as they relate to Local Government infrastructure assets.
- Experience in working with and contributing to multi-tasked team outcomes and work environment.
- Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Current Victorian Driver’s license.
