
Sentence Planning Coordinator

**The essential requirements for this role are**:
An understanding of the criminal justice system or similar legislated work environment or alternatively demonstrated workplace experience that would evidence your ability to rapidly acquire this knowledge is highly desirable;
Demonstrated ability to meet the challenges of a demanding work environment including high level planning and organisational skills that ensure multiple tasks are completed within identified timeframes;
Interpersonal and negotiation skills to support service delivery in an environment where engagement with a range of internal and external stakeholders is critical;
Highly developed problem solving skills to ensure issues are identified and resolved including a demonstrated ability to identify and respond appropriately to identified risks related to prisoner management;
Strong written and oral communication skills and an attention to detail in this regard including in the preparation of and completion of complex reports, for both internal and external stakeholders; and
Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, set priorities, monitor work flow and develop local strategies or work practices.
