Daimler Trucks Newcastle, part of the Velocity Truck Centres, offers dedicated sales, service and parts, and teams, to service our customers. You will be based at our Beresfield dealership which features our modern showroom offering a range of Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso vehicles.

**About the Role**

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager who has a passion for sales to lead and manage a sales team and ensure premium customer service is delivered to our customers.

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

- Manage sales team day to day activity,
- Drive the sales team for growth both revenue and market share
- Build strong working relationships with all stakeholders and build cohesion between the sales service and parts teams on site

**About You**

***
The successful applicant will have/be:

- Prior leadership and sales experience preferably in the automotive industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to make presentations to others
- Previous experience with full P&L budgeting and line-item composite profit reporting processes
- An understanding of the Finance and Insurance industry segment
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- High degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to effectively manage conflict
- A motivated and enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to drive sales and build relationships
- Current Driver’s license
- HR Truck license is preferred but not essential
- Full Australian working rights
