Volunteers are an integral part of the care and support provided at Bendigo Health. The Palliative Care Volunteer Coordinator works in collaboration with the Director of Volunteer Services to manage and coordinate the activities of volunteer support workers across the palliative care program.

This role is responsible for ensuring volunteers are appropriately placed and supported within the SPCS. The program is structured to meet the evolving needs of the organisation, ensuring that volunteers are matched effectively to roles where they can make the greatest impact.
