**Job Description**:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resource generalist to join our friendly and welcoming People & Engagement team. The primary focus of the role is to provide day to day advice on employee engagement strategies, partnering with our leaders in our Energy & Sustainable Cities (ESC) business line, using your expertise to guide and influence great outcomes for our people.
This role will require you to be a champion of change management, as the Egis business goes through significant growth in Australia and New Zealand. The role will play a key role in bringing the different sectors within the ESC business line together.
Your key focus areas will include:
**Employee Relations**:
- Partner with the business as a trusted resource for employees and leaders on HR-related issues.
- Handle and resolve complex employee relations matters, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
**Change Management**:
- Creation of change management and communication plans
- Consultation and implementation of change activity
**Project Delivery**:
- Lead / support the design and roll out of key P&E lifecycle activities, including annual remuneration review, talent mapping, succession planning
- Provide input to the implementation of a new global HRIS
**Governance and Framework Development**:
- Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance.
- Assist in the development, communication, and implementation of HR policies, procedures and frameworks.
**Career Development**:
- Identify training needs and develop career development plans to ensure our employees have meaningful and rewarding learning and development opportunities.
- Support our leaders to foster a culture of continuous learning.
**HR Technology & Administration**:
- Use HRIS systems and other HR-related software to streamline processes, maintain accurate data, and generate reports.
- Recommend and implement system and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
**Qualifications**:
Ideally, you will have:
- Extensive experience within Human Resources, ideally in generalist advisory roles.
- Experience working in the engineering or professional services industry is desirable.
- Previous change management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to guide and influence our people.
- Highly experienced in providing advice and assisting in matters relating to multiple enterprise agreements and industrial instruments.
- Ability to professionally handle confidential material and associated issues.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen.
