**About the company**
Our client, a Global manufacturing organization, requires the assistance of Evolve Scientific Recruitment to source a Microbiology Analyst to join their team. This role would offer you the opportunity to have Fridays and Saturdays off. This is a six-month contract role with view to extension.

**About the role**
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will perform Microbial plate reading of raw materials, Environmental monitoring and Water in compliance with quality standards.

Graduates encouraged to apply.
- Perform Microbial plate reading and microbial identification
- Perform growth promotion testing of media plates and cassettes
- Bioburden testing
- Perform result entry in Laboratory Information Management System
- Assist with preparation, review and update of Standard Operation Procedures and Procedures for testing
- Participate in investigation of out of specification results as required
- Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained / prepared in accordance with approved procedures.

**To be successful in this position you will have**:

- A Bachelor of Science, majoring in Microbiology or a related discipline
- Knowledge or working experience with Plate reading and Microbial identification
- Preferably experience within a GMP environment
