**About the company**

Operating as a major global Multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer with global sites worldwide, our client is well known for its growth and innovation and is an Australian iconic brand in the marketplace, offering a range of healthcare products to local & global markets.
Due to increase in project requirements within the Quality Control team, our client is now seeking a
** QC Microbiology Analyst **to perform bioburden testing of raw materials in process product & water in compliance with quality standards & government regulations.

**About the Opportunity**

Key responsibilities include the following:

- Perform routine bioburden testing using pour plate, spread plate & membrane filtration technicques.
- Perform Environmental Monitoring, including viable & non-viable monitoring.
- Assist with preparation, review & update of SOP's for testing.
- Perform data entry using LIMS.
- Assist with validation of procedures for testing & equipment.
- Ensure equipment & facilities are maintained & prepared in accordance with approved procedures.
- General laboratory housekeeping & ordering of consumables.

**About You**
- A tertiary qualification in Microbiology or Science with further studies in Microbiology or equivalent.
- Knowledge or experience working with Microbiology Test Methods.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiar with USP/BP/EP compendial requirements.
- Good knowledge of the TGA (PICs) & FDA requirements.
- Experience within Qualification of Equipment is desirable.
- Ability to work alone or with a small team.
- Sound communication & interpersonal skills.
