The Workplace Technology Manager is a key leadership role at Aurecon, responsible for overseeing IT end-user services, leading a regional technical support team, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. They play a critical role in advancing IT initiatives, aligning team efforts with business goals, and driving technology adoption and strategy execution.
Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.
- Strategically lead a team of Workplace Technology professionals, fostering a culture of support, guidance, and continuous improvement.
- Lead the regional IT support team to provide exceptional user experience through excellent service delivery.
- Guarantee team alignment with IT strategy and business priorities.
- Manage regional IT support operations and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
- Promote technology adoption through innovative education and communication strategies.
- Spearhead key IT projects and initiatives within the region.
- IT budgeting and financial planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

As well as experience in a similar role, you will need:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in an operational technology environment.

- Proven track record in managing regional technical support teams.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strategic thinking, adaptability, and technical acumen.
- Ability to drive technology adoption and align IT strategies with business goals.
