**Selection Criteria**:
SC1. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the Asset Information Management System (AIMS), and a sound understanding of CASES21 and Edusafe Plus (OHS records), including the ability to manage building and maintenance programs and maintain compliance with regulatory obligations.

SC2. Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic decision-making by providing accurate and timely advice, reporting, and recommendations to the Business Manager, Principal Team, School Leadership, and School Council in relation to asset management and school infrastructure planning.

SC3. Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment and communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, DET departments, and school community members, to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of school facilities.

SC4. Proven organisational and time management skills, with the ability to independently manage completing work priorities and deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality administrative and operational support in a dynamic school environment.

SC5. A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, professional learning, and the development of systems and practices that enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

Objectives will, generally, be clearly defined; guidelines will be broad and day-to-day direction mínimal. Management responsibility extends to ensuring appropriate support levels are maintained across the school. Range 4 generally provides key support and timely advice to the leadership team and school council and liaises with the general school community, the Department and other government agencies and service providers.

Specialised professional roles will carry a high level of independence and accountability where suitable scope is provided to achieve objectives.

An education support class position supports the educational services being provided to students, but must not include duties of teaching as defined in clause 2.6.1 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) or its successor. Supervision of students cannot be required except where it is an integral part of the employee's position or involves supervision of students individually or in small groups, in controlled circumstances, where the responsibility for students remains clearly with a teacher.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide advice and recommendations with a view to maximising school revenue and optimising the use of school resources.
- Comply with all Department of Education policies and requirements, in relation to asset management and school maintenance accountability.

Banmira Specialist School is a vibrant, inclusive learning community supporting over 265 students and 120 dedicated staff across **two**campuses. We cater to students aged 2.8 to 18 years, providing specialised education tailored to individual needs.

Opened in 2025, our **Junior Campus** features purpose-built classrooms aligned with our Instructional Model, along with a Community Hub housing a Sensory Room, Perceptual Motor Program space, Library, Art Room, and Parent/Wellbeing Hub.
