**Your new company**
Part of one of the biggest insurers in the world - this role sits within the Travel Insurance team based on of the Sydney CBD. This area has serviced customers for over 25 years and provides fully customisable travel risk management and global emergency assistance services protecting millions of people each year. With travel, every problem is unique whether it’s a medical crisis, a political threat, or a common mishap of a missed flight or lost luggage. No two days are the same and you will have full autonomy to case manage and help others in need.

**Your new role**
You will be responsible for supporting the Global Response Centre in all aspects of opening and managing various types of emergency, medical, and travels cases. This could vary from duties such as daily verbal and written communications to the patient and companions, liaising with medical teams worldwide, and arranging logistics related to emergency travel. This role will be handling inbound triage calls, after-hour customer service inquires, and facilitating payments for airline tickets, funeral home expenses and other emergency travel needs.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Travel Insurance experience is advantageous - in a claim, emergency assistance or service capacity
- Other insurance experience is preferred in absence of travel insurance experience, with demonstrated call-centre of claims experience
- High amounts of empathy and the ability to really care for others in their time of need
- Ability to work independently - your superiors will be overseas however you will be provided with a huge amount of support each shift
- PR or Citizens only with ability to commit to a fulltime perm role
