**Collar Group are seeking an an Concrete Plant Supervisor for our Client based North of the City.**

**Our client is an family owned and operated Business with over 150 Employees throughout Adelaide. They have grown from a single truck to operating Concrete plants, Sand quarries, Hard Rock Quarry and an sand processing plant. They're forever expanding and looking for ongoing Talent throughout South Australia.**

**General & key responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Responsibility for concrete production within the concrete plant site.
- Supervision of all workers on the plant site including drivers, contractors and visitors.
- Timely escalation of issues including safety, injuries and or conflict management that may require management input.
- Comply with Chain of Responsibility obligations under your direct control or influence and seek clarification on any matters you are unsure about.
- Participate actively and constructively in plant/toolbox meetings.
- Perform administrative responsibilities relating to the operation of the plant and customer deliveries. This includes but is not limited to checking all incoming and outgoing delivery dockets for accuracy and completion, sorting and forwarding paperwork to Head Office and ensuring the maintenance of plant and equipment is documented.
- Raise purchase orders in line with company guidelines and procedures. Obtain Production Manager pre-approval for any out of the ordinary purchases.
- Other reasonable duties as required by management.
- Delivering Tools and equipment to sites within South Australia
- Using Manual Hand tools and equipment
- Operation of Forklift (loading and unloading)

**Skills, experience and qualifications**:
As the successful applicant you should have the following experience and attributes:
- Knowledge of concrete materials, products and operations.
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility obligations.
- WH&S and Environmental Standards knowledge.
- Strong understanding of plant processes
- Construction and transport industry knowledge.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures necessary to produce concrete.

**Skill**:

- Strong leadership skills.
- Plant and machinery maintenance skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy and time management
- Exercise sound judgment.

**Qualifications**:

- Front End Loader license.
- Forklift License.
- First Aid
- White card
- HR License desirable
- Fatigue Management for schedulers desirable
