A new service in Bentleigh opening January 2025 is looking for a passionate and organised Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity.
This is a permanent part time role and you'll be working 28.0 hours a week. Your shifts will be Monday to Friday 7:00 - 9:00AM (Rise then Shine) and 3:00pm - 6:00pm (Stay and Play) with an additional 3 hours paid admin each week.
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Enjoy working with kids Strong and clear communication Team player with a desire to become a service leader Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA Australian work rights
