**POSITION PURPOSE**
We have an exciting opportunity for a **Digital Workplace Manager** working within IDP’s Global Cloud, Infrastructure and Services team. The primary focus of this role is to manage our Digital Workplace program across our international business.
Much of IDP’s innovation is being driven through technology and IDP develops and maintains a modern workplace and excellent digital employee experiences. The Digital Workplace Manager will focus on the overall vision and strategy to deliver digital employee experiences that provide real business value.
The Digital Workplace Manager will be responsible for coaching and mentoring a team of Engineers as well as providing leadership on Digital Workplace services across our global business. While this role is officially off the tools, you will naturally get involved with the engineers and be the escalation point for any challenges.
This is a **full-time permanent opportunity** based out of **Melbourne**, reporting to the Director, Global Cloud. Infrastructure and Services.
**A people leadership role with several direct reports and third-party vendors to lead and manage a best-in-class digital workplace experience program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Managing the Digital Workplace team, setting team goals and direction, driving high performance and capability development, building a customer-focused team culture, and being a key senior level escalation point for all areas of responsibility.
- Develop and maintain a Digital Workplace Strategy including maintaining a vision and roadmap, baseline and metrics, roadmap, employee experience analysis, design, and continuous improvement programs.
- Responsible for End User Computing and development and maintenance of a secure, modern SOE/MOE across the IDP business.
- Accountability for end-to-end platform experience, change, and operation by continuously generating opportunities to enhance the digital workplace experiences.
- Drive and evolve the Digital Workplace program to increase retention and attraction with best-in-class onboarding, fulfillment and modernisation of our technology platforms and simplify how we access information.
- Build an employee experience layer that reduces complexity and provides personalised experiences through UI/UX enhancement.
- Collaborate with various business owners and our global business leaders to enable and empower employees through our digital workplace strategy.
- Lead and manage several contractors, vendors, and consultants on project work across the employee experience
- Lead and manage technical change and adoption practices.
- Maintain all security policies and Cyber industry best practices.
- A sense of urgency and fundamental commitment to quality.
**About you**
As our new Digital Workplace Manager, you'll be a critical member of a high performing team, personally producing outcomes that accelerates IDPs agenda to support students in their life-long study journey. We'll be relying on you to be our go to person for all things _digital workplace_, and influence the organisation and stakeholders in areas requiring Digital Workplace services, building and fostering effective relationships at all levels.
Specifically, we are looking for a talented individual who has;
- A blend of business and technical knowledge, with expert knowledge using Office 365-related technologies including Microsoft Modern Desktop and related technologies.
- A background in pre-sales or consultancy experience to internal business teams and prior experience as a Product Owner is highly desired
