**Job Purpose**

An exciting opportunity for an Export Operator to join our growing team

This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end shipping operation for our clients using DP World’s assets and systems, while maintaining our reputation and brand as market leading logistics service provider.

The Export Operator will manage day-to-day operations for key clients, from bookings, processing shipments, liaising with transport through to invoicing and reporting.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Process Export Sea bookings
- Register all booking details in DP Worlds ERP system (CargoWise - CW1)
- Lodge EDN, PRA, COO, RFP
- Arrange origin cartage
- Lodge FI on carrier portal
- Arrange billing & process service provider invoices
- Liaise with Overseas Agent as required
- Create & maintain SOPs for client profiles
- Provide highest level of customer service to client by being responsive, cooperative, and knowledgeable
- Demonstrate problem-solving capability and escalate issues with management in timely manner
- Actively participate in weekly department meetings and follow management directives for task allocation, report till completion.
- Follow export SOP, KPI requirement

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**
- 3-5 years’ experience in export operations preferred, sea freight (mandatory)
- Experience using freight forwarder software, CW1 (highly regarded), or Expedient or the like
- Experience dealing with carriers, transport company, terminals, Customs, AQIS, 1-Stop
- Team player, able to coordinate and share responsibilities with other team members +/or department/s
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Capable of following management directives, SOPs and KPIs
- Excellent understanding of the supply chain from an Australian perspective
