Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

**The Role**:
We are currently looking for Disability Support Workers to partner with our 83-year-old Male participant based in **South Hurstville, NSW**. Our participant sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and requires assistance with all aspects of daily life.

The current care plan in place requires 24/7 support. The hours we require covering include:
**Day shifts**:0645-1415 and 1200-1900

**Inactive sleepover**: 1730-2200(active) 2200-0645(inactive)

**Transfer Shift**:0730-0930 and 2000-2200

**Pay Rates**:

- Day - $38.75 per hour
- Saturday - $54.25 per hour
- Sunday - $69.75 per hour
- Sleepover Allowance - $100 fixed rate

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assistance with eating and drinking
- Assistance with personal care and toileting
- Completing skin checks
- Manual handling
- Assistance with Health & Rehab exercises
- Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning & meal preparation
- Community access

**Skills & Experiences**:

- Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
- Croatian, Serbian, Macedonian speaking Support Workers preferable
- NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
- Current National Police Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current NDIS Screening check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Australian Driver Licence
- Current WWCC
- Manual Handling Certificate
