Extending beyond the traditional retail environment into destinations that combine commerce, health services, education, hotels, accommodation, and civic and cultural experiences. Our assets aim to respond to the changing ways people want to live, work, and shop.

**About The Role**:
Centrally located in the heart of Toowoomba CBD, Grand Central is home to many leading national retailers including the only Myer department store in the region plus over 240 retailers and a GLA of 90,000m2.

As the Centre Manager, you will lead a team to ensure the centre is managed to the highest possible standards. This includes:

- Working with property teams and QIC Head office to establish current and future strategic directions
- Deliver key performance requirements including necessary financial, operational, and marketing goals and targets
- 100% compliance with regulation and ensuring centre operates to the highest standards of presentation and risk management
- Market the centre effectively to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop retailer relationships to achieve mutually beneficial business outcomes
- Positive centre administration and finance audit results
- Rental payments and debtor’s control
- Manage the marketing function to ensure outperformance of sales and traffic outcomes

**About You**:
You are a hands-on leader with an excellent ability to lead, mentor and train your team to ensure a strong team environment at all times. You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the QIC business as well as external parties.
- Current Real Estate License/Certificate of Registration or equivalent depending on jurisdiction
- Demonstrated experience as Centre Manager of a regional shopping centre in Australia
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the relevant Retail Leases legislation and other relevant legislation, including the federal Trade Practices Act
- Strong numeracy skills
- Strong communication skills
- PCA Diploma of Shopping Centre Management and Tertiary qualifications would be well regarded
