Permanent full-time opportunity for a Finance Officer with a strong focus in accounts receivable.

**Your new company**
This well-established college prides themselves on educating and empowering children to achieve their personal best. They are currently looking for a Finance Officer with a strong focus in accounts receivable to join their finance team.

**Your new role**
In your new role you will work under general supervision while being responsible for supervising, training and managing other staff. You will also be responsible for a range of accounts receivable functions including,
- Coordinating billing and collection processes including liaising with parents and debt collection agencies
- Reconciling fee accounts
- Providing support to the assistant accountant with student enrolment fees
- Processing monthly catering journal
- Managing petty cash
- Preparing monthly and annual financial reports on outstanding fee accounts
- Providing detailed recommendation to Business Manager about payment plans and fee concessions
- Running monthly depreciation
- Assisting with the preparation of Finance Reports (BAS, & FBT)
- Assisting with preparation for interim and yearly audits

- Relevant knowledge, experience and/or qualifications
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Understanding and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks
