We are experts in concrete floor preparation, repairs and solving difficult concrete floor problems. We make sure the concrete floor in stores, showrooms and commercial spaces are smooth, level and ready for flooring finishes to be installed.

We ensure we deliver quality outcomes and flooring solutions to our clients every time. Our clients include some of Australia's most well-known brands and retail spaces. To do this we need your help.

**About the role**
In this position you will be required to:

- solve complex concrete construction problems
- diagnose flooring defects
- identify optimal remediation for existing concrete floors
- supervise and work alongside the team in completing the required works
- be responsible for organising the correct equipment for each job
- be responsible for ensuring a job runs to schedule and communicating with site foreman and/or client where required
- ensure projects have been completed to a high standard
- visit potential job sites and undertake diagnostic quoting
- liaise with administration staff regarding timesheet, safety documentation requirements, material orders etc

Ad-hoc hours driven by client demands requires flexible approach - including weekend and night work (attracts overtime rates)

Full time equivalent workload - 37.5 hours per week

Work on job sites all over Melbourne & Regional Victoria

**About you**
- Technical requirements_

Minimum of 3 years of experience working in concrete floor renovations & repairs

Experience and detailed understanding of Polished Concrete, including obtaining full, partial or mínimal aggregate exposure, using:

- Full mechanical polish
- Pavilion polishing
- Grind and seal

Knowledge and experience with floor waterproofing, including:

- Internal waterproofing systems
- External waterproofing
- Tremco, Ardex, Marpey waterproofing systems
- Aquaron penetrating moisture barrier systems

Experience in a range of floor covering materials (ceramic tiles, concrete tiles, carpets, vinyl, waterproofing systems, levelling compound etc) using a range of tools, including:

- OEM Twister Lifting Machine
- Mechanical Lifter
- Kanga Lifter
- Electric Lifters
- Jackhammers
- Scarifier

Thorough understanding of specialised leveling techniques, including concrete toppings, high-end levelling, assessable compliance and three-dimensional ramping
- Experience using the full range of Ardex & Bostik levelling compounds and repair mortars

Specialised expertise of epoxy coating systems, including roll on, trowel on systems as well as Terraflake system.
- Technical knowledge of Sika, Ardex, SureCoat, Amerloc epoxy systems.
