Job Description:
As a Concreter at D&D concreting, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, contributing to the successful completion of various projects. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Forming, pouring, spreading, and levelling concrete for various structures such as foundations, walls, floors, and sidewalks.
- ensuring proper alignment and elevation of concrete forms and reinforcing materials.
- Operating equipment such as trowel machines, finishing tools and a wide variety of basic hand tools and power tools.
- Applying finishing techniques to achieve desired surfaces, textures, and colours.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
- Adhering to project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Constructing, assembling, and dismantling formwork for various concrete structures, including walls, columns, beams, and slabs.
- Ensuring proper alignment, measurements, and structural integrity of the formwork.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Concreter in construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- In-depth knowledge of various formwork systems, materials, and techniques.
- Strong understanding of concrete properties, curing processes, and finishing methods.
