UGL Defence has recently been awarded the contract to manage the Defence fuel related Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance. We are recruiting Fuel Operators to join our Operations & Maintenance team in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.
- This is a unique opportunity to join a long-term, operations and maintenance contract, within the defence sector. Work with a Tier 1 services provider, alongside an established crew of experienced technicians.

**The Role**s**
- Led by an Operations Supervisor, the following roles will be based in the Ipswich region, supporting several fuel installation sites in the region.

**Operating Agent’s**
- Responsible for the safe and compliant, operation and management of the aviation and/or ground fuel installations
- Lead a small team of operators, managing quality, compliance, quantity and availability of fuel and related systems and processes
- Previous experience working bulk fuel management or defence fuels is essential

**Base Fuel Quality **Control **Manager**
- Ensure the technical integrity of the fuel, including management of quality control sampling and testing
- Previous experience in fuel management and quality control is required. Similar role previously held will be preferred

**DFI Operator**
- Reporting to the OA, an operator will be tasked with various operational and functional roles around the installation
- Experience in similar environment would be highly regarded; fuel or other high-risk/hazardous processing environments

- Along with experience relevant to each role above, you will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee. We expect that the successful applicant will have the following:

- Defence specific training will be advantageous, however, this training will be provided to the successful applicant where required
- Valid Drivers Licence (HR or HC will be highly regarded)
- Safety is at the forefront of everything you do
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance
- Live locally, or willing to relocate to the Ipswich / Amberley region
