We are looking for motivated Communications Technicians to join our Installations Team.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

The core responsibility of the Installations Team is to provide installation labour and on-site support to the Communications/Electrical Project Manager. Depending on the skill, experience and certification of the installer, this may include new installations, repairs and maintenance visits as required.

**Core responsibilities may include**:

- Structured cabling and terminations
- Coaxial cabling and terminations
- Equipment installation (microwave radio, unlicensed, licensed, routers, switches, UPS)
- Equipment repairs and replacements
- On site support and troubleshooting to communications infrastructure
- On site repairs and replacement of communications infrastructure
- Scheduled maintenance runs
- Maintenance reporting
- Customer liaising
- Site inspections
- Overtime, weekend work and travel away will be required from time to time

**Successful applicants will display**:

- Leadership skills, capable of overseeing a team of Communications Technicians and/or apprentices
- Organisational skills, able to meet strict deadlines
- Capability of working unsupervised
- Self motivation, with excellent time management skills
- High level of communication and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good personal presentation

**And will have**:

- Open registration licence (with structured cabling endorsement as a minimum, coax and fibre endorsements would be a distinct advantage).
- Current driver's licence (and able to drive a manual vehicle)
- Construction industry white card
- Appropriate tools of trade
- Current flu and covid-19 vaccinations
- Current first aid and CPR
- Recent National Police Certificate (within 12 months)
- Current Working with Children Check (or able to obtain one)

A wage of $41-$45 per hour (plus superannuation) will be offered, depending on skills and experience. A company vehicle will also be provided.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $41.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
