We are looking for motivated Communications Riggers to join our Installations Team.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
The core responsibility of the Installations Team is to provide installation labour and on-site support to the Operations and Engineering Manager.
**Core responsibilities may include**:
- Working at heights to install, assemble, fault find and diagnose
- Panning antennas, terminating cables, labelling, grounding & sweep testing
- Installing, testing and maintaining telecommunications equipment mounted on high structures, including radio towers
- Equipment installation (microwave radio, unlicensed, licensed, routers, switches, UPS)
- Coaxial cabling and terminations
- Reading and interpreting construction / as built drawings
- Completing appropriate paperwork / electronic forms
- Scheduled maintenance runs and maintenance reporting
- Site inspections
- Following client and industry specifications, standards and HSEQ guidelines
- Customer liaising
- Overtime, weekend work and travel away will be required from time to time
**Successful applicants will display**:
- Leadership skills, capable of overseeing a team of Communications Technicians and/or apprentices
- Organisational skills, able to meet strict deadlines
- Capability of working unsupervised
- Self motivation, with excellent time management skills
- High level of communication and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good personal presentation
**And will have**:
- Open registration licence (with structured cabling endorsement as a minimum, coax and fibre endorsements would be a distinct advantage).
- Working at Heights and Tower Rescue certificate
- Rigging / Dogging / EWP tickets
- Radhaz RF EME awareness certificate
- Current driver's licence (and able to drive a manual vehicle)
- Construction industry white card
- Appropriate tools of trade
- “Fit to climb” medical
- Current flu and covid-19 vaccinations
- Current first aid and CPR
- Recent National Police Certificate (within 12 months)
- Current Working with Children Check (or able to obtain one)
A wage of $41-$45 per hour (plus superannuation) will be offered, depending on skills and experience. A company vehicle will also be provided.

**Salary**: $41.00 - $45.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
