Queanbeyan Public School is an inclusive and proud comprehensive public school with an enrolment of 440 students. 26% of our enrolment are EAL/D. 11% of our enrolment are from an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background.

The school has a deep commitment to Aboriginal Education including ongoing reconciliation actions. It maintains a collaborative partnership with the Aboriginal Education Consultative Group and consults with the Aboriginal community.

**Selection Criteria**:
Approval to teach infants and primary K-6 with demonstrated ability to deliver high quality, differentiated literacy and numeracy programs.

Demonstrated ability to create a positive learning environment through the implementation of effective classroom management strategies and student well-being programs that support whole school systems.

Ability to work as a highly effective and collaborative member of the staff team to support whole school improvement and initiatives.
