Evidenced capacity to assess, plan and report using the English as a Second Language (ESL) scales and the English as an Additional Language and/or Dialect (EAL/D) progressions.

Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with an understanding of the needs of students and parents from non-English speaking backgrounds, and demonstrated ability to support these students in their learning.

If applicable engagement will be temporary until successful completion of the approved post graduate qualification for teaching English as a Second Language (primary or secondary) as recognised by the NSW Department of Education, which must be completed within 12 months.
