Environment Advisor - based in the South West

**About the Role**:
A global mining company is looking for an Environmental professional (Advisor level) to assess environmental requirements and constraints associated with assessing and issuing ground disturbance permits.

The role involves Undertaking Ground Disturbance Permits for the Pre-Mining team on a 3-month contract, either full time or a minimum of 3 days per week based on site.

Responsibilities will include all clearing/ground disturbance activities require assessment via the Ground Disturbance Permitting process, to ensure all appropriate pre-mining surveys, constraints and risks have been clearly identified and permission to undertake disturbance activities is authorised.

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in GIS;
- Understanding of environmental regulations;
- Preferable experience in environmental permits;
- Interpersonal skills (ability to communicate both written and verbally permit conditions to customers);
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, if required.
- Australian working rights.
- Based in Perth, as an immediate start is required.
