**A day In the Life of a Technology Controls Manager**

This is a key first line of defence role providing controls assurance and assessments for the technology division, these include system and automated controls.

Work with business units to improve control deficiencies and provide advice and guidance to stakeholders on remediation activities.

Manage a team of control professionals when assessing key controls to mitigate risks in line with the group-wide operational risk framework.

**Desired Experience**:

- Prior in a Technology Risk or IT Audit, Controls or Assurance role.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry (banking, financial services, utilities, professional services).
- Knowledge of COBIT, SO27001, NIST, CPS220/234, CPG234.
- Understanding of the Australian regulatory landscape.
- Tertiary qualification in technology, accounting, finance or relevant with CISA/CISSP/CISM/ITIL/CPA/CA)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong presence and articulation when dealing with stakeholders.
- Someone who is curious, enthusiastic, and enjoys problem-solving.
