**A day in the Life of a Technology Risk Manager - Cloud**

This second-line role is responsible for reviewing how well the organisation is adhering to the risk management framework, policies and procedures relating to Technology risk.
- Provider oversight, review, challenge, and guidance helping the business reach their destination whilst providing insights and guidance.
- Work collaboratively with the business.
- Oversee, identify and manage key risks.
- Ensure compliance requirements are met across the team.
- Review controls around the AWS platform to assess if risk have been written appropriately.
- Asses control evidence to ensure it mitigates the risks in a cloud environment.

You'll be required to form an opinion on how the risks are being managed assertively providing your opinion to the stakeholders which will require you to constructively challenge in a respectful manner.

**Experience desired to succeed in the role**:

- 8 + years in a Technology Risk Management or IT Audit role in any industry, ideally highly regulated or enterprise size.
- Sound knowledge of the technology risks enterprise-size organisations face.
- Experience working in a cloud environment is essential, reviewing control frameworks, working on cloud platforms or cloud migrations.
- Financial services experience would be highly regarded however not essential.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and challenge respectfully.
- Ability to articulate and provide feedback in a constructive manner.
- Highly refined written and verbal communication skills.
- Aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment which offers full support and investment in its employees.
