The purpose of the position is to carry out and administer Council’s inspection and regulatory functions relating to swimming pool barriers to enhance and promote swimming pool safety. This includes undertaking inspections to ensure compliance with relevant standards and legislation and increasing public awareness of swimming pool safety.

This position will report to the Manager Building in the City Development Group who supports a team focused on professional service to our customers delivering benefits to our customers and the community.

- Temporary full time, initially for 6 months with possible extension up to further 6 months
- 35 hours per week with access to flexi-time
- Commencing salary range from $1300.82 - $1380.45 per week (dependent on qualifications and experience) plus 10.5% superannuation
