**About Our Client**:
Our client is a leading Federal Government agency that provides a breadth of services across Australia to ensure the focus is on our further and delivering outcomes set by stakeholders.

**Duties**
- Lead work investigating the impacts of water reforms
- Scope, commission and manage applied economic and research projects
- Ensure the social and economic research investments support the strategic aims
- Represent the client, engage with stakeholders, and supervise junior staff
- Synthesise diverse, complex, contentious and at times conflicting social and economic data and knowledge
- Prepare written material for internal and external audiences
- Contribute to the collection and maintenance of social and economic data holdings

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated liaison, stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills including ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills
- A degree in economics, or related field.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and project planning experience
- Demonstrated ability to deliver research projects.
