- Transdev John Holland Buses is an integrated joint venture partnership between Transdev and John Holland, combining the know-how of the world’s leading mobility companies and one of Australia’s integrated infrastructure, transport and building companies. Operating out of three (3) depots we are tasked with providing 35 million customer journeys per year including for many of Sydney’s major events.- The **Communications Advisor** will provide specialist advice on all communications initiatives and activities to support the successful delivery of TJHB's strategic plan and objectives. The role is pivotal in supporting communication activities through planning, stakeholder mapping, and content development.

This is a permanent position working from our Randwick Depot.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- As the Communications Advisor, you will deliver and implement a broad range of communications and projects that promote the Transdev John Holland strategic objectives and priorities to internal and external stakeholders, and partnerships. You will also plan and deliver effective communications campaigns for various initiatives and programs using a mix of channels and tools. Additionally, you will produce and edit high-quality communications materials, such as newsletters, brochures, reports, presentations, web content, and social media posts.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role will include:

- Writing, editing and proofing content for digital and print media including, web and intranet pages, social media, content plans, blogs and newsletters, speeches, detailed government documents and reporting, broader marketing campaigns and more;
- Support and assist the business to develop and execute communication strategies and campaigns that seek to increase our reach among our target audience;
- Manage media inquiries, assets and briefs, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information with an understanding of media;
- Support key events and campaigns across the organisation, including planning, coordination, and execution of campaigns;
- Understanding of media messaging and key stakeholders
- Developing, executing, optimising and reporting on campaigns;
- Support the Social Media & Design Specialist to develop social media content, implement schedules and monitor daily activities on a range of social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter;
- Work closely with internal clients to understand their communication needs and provide strategic guidance and support;
- Build positive and enduring stakeholder relationships to strengthen the position and reputation of TJHB with the customer;
- Support the Customer Experience Team with the successful implementation and maintenance of customer engagement programs e.g. ‘Schools Safety Program’ and ‘Meet our Managers’;
- Support Transdev Australasia’s Communication teams and other internal functions to deliver various initiatives as required;
- Maintain and update photographic library, contacts list and archive relevant communications.

In addition, you will liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent and accurate messaging and branding. You will evaluate and report on the impact and outcomes of communications activities using relevant metrics and feedback, monitor and evaluate the impact and outcomes of communications activities.

**To be successful in this role, you possess**:

- Tertiary Degree (Bachelor level) or certificate or proven experience in relevant area of expertise, e.g. public relations, communications; stakeholder management, marketing).
- Strong stakeholder engagement with the ability to build and nurture productive working relationships.
- Flawless written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in successful planning and delivery of projects and ongoing management of key stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated experience preparing a range of communication materials (including both digital and offline).
- Demonstrated experience in event management.
- Proficient in Sharepoint, Wordpress, Microsoft Office and design programs.
