**Who we’re looking for**:
The Head of Salary packaging provides results-driven leadership to manage and improve the efficiency of our salary packaging operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that customers are expertly guided through their life of lease questions and salary packaging journey, ensuring that the benefits of novated leasing are maximised.
This role requires both strategic planning and operational delivery to harmonise our salary packaging operations, improve performance metrics and employee engagement to enhance our service model with an aim to grow our novated leasing and salary packaging business.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Lead service centre for Employers and Employees.
- Drive customer experience to ensure maximum retention and repeat business.
- Establish new service standards and procedures.
- Connect people and systems to build salary packaging capability and seamless customer experience.
- Ensure seamless handling of inbound enquiries relating to existing packages, salary deductions and reporting.
- Proactively manage budget changes, deduction catch ups and reconciliations.
- Oversee training to ensure expertise on salary packaging benefits and FBT by all team members.
- Champion customer experience and manage feedback to boost satisfaction rates.
- Create and continuously improve processes and documentation including customer collateral.
- Assist with relationship management and promotion of salary packaging services.
- Lead implementation of new Employers onto tied to payroll service.
- Report on all aspects of managing and retaining the portfolio.
- Initiate, manage, and assist projects to improve customer journey.
- Identify opportunities to build customer loyalty and improve retention.
- Provide specialist FBT information to the business.
**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualification in Finance or Business Management an advantage
- Experience in a similar role in financial services or salary packaging
- Advanced knowledge of Fringe Benefits Tax and ATO guidelines
- Change Management qualification an advantage
**Experience / Knowledge**
- Experienced Salary Packaging Leader
- Proven ability to create and manage high performing teams
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Critical thinking and strategic
- Advanced knowledge of FBT and ATO legislation with an ability to explain in simple terms
- Strong ability to analyse data for insights and meaning
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage business leaders and customers
- Proven ability to manage change
- Autonomous and effective member of the management team who is focussed on best practice outcomes
- Exceptional organisational skills, including ability to manage multiple projects whilst maintaining service standards and meeting deadlines
- Compliance and risk mitigation driven
- Ability to create and document processes
