**Your new company**

A State Government Department is looking for a Finance Project Officer to join Their team. This role requires you to work full-time hours, on an initial Temporary basis.

**You're new role**

As an experienced a Finance Project Officer your daily duties will include but won’t be limited to:

- Contribute to the Financial reporting for the department
- Participate in the delivery of the annual budget process
- Participate in the development, implementation, maintenance and dissemination of advice
- Participate in the monitoring of divisional budgets and support the budget and business Reporting manager
- Undertake Research in identifying and analysing trends, problems and issues Impacting on the departments actual, forecast and budget position
- Other duties as required

**What You'll need to succeed**
- Knowledge of fiscal Governance and financial management process
- Well-developed interpersonal Skills, negotiation skills, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build effective Relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge and experience in The business analysis and research and implementing financial and business Performance improvements
