An opportunity for Cybersecurity Specialist to work with a well-renowned public sector based out of Melbourne

**Your new company**
Victoria’s #TOP council looking for Cybersecurity Specialist to be part of their Security team for a 6-month contract (with possible extension)

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for a broad range of tasks and duties including:

- Manage the interaction between business and technology teams to ensure effective support for system delivery/upgrade is achieved
- Collect, analysis and distribute, reporting of security info and risk to help cyber threats
- Choose the most appropriate technical controls and deploy the same
- Act as a SME to other stakeholders and departments with cybersecurity inputs

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role you will possess the following:

- Exposure of identifying, and deciding security incidents
- Excellent stakeholder management experience (both internal & external)
- Hands on experience of managing a security dashboard (any SIEM)
