**About the Company**

Davidson Technology are currently supporting one of the country's most influential not-for-profit organisations, operating at the heart of Australian communities to provide life changing services and support for vulnerable members of the community.

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist for a 12-month contract position, with a daily rate up to $920 including superannuation.

**About the Role**

You will join a dynamic Cyber Security Operations team and play a key role in improving the team's capability across security orchestration, automation, incident response and data loss prevention.

You will be a driving force in the implementation of architectural roadmaps, contributing to design and improvements as well as maximising the value from their security tools.

You will be a senior member of the team and a SME within the Security practice. You will help build platforms, automate and integrate technologies to drive the ongoing uplift of the Security practice.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

- Expert skills in one or more of: SIEM, EDR or DLP
- Experience in SOAR tools or workflow automation
- Experience in a cloud environment
- Experience in CI/CD or IAC for security
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in project environment

**Desirable**

Additional experience in setting up your own forensic lab would be highly desirable.
