**Job Description**:
Reporting into the Senior Manager, HSE - Resources and Industrials, this role will lead our Bulk Dangerous Goods sector nationally. With sites across QLD, NSW and WA you will have 3 Regional HSE Managers directly supporting the operations for our blue chip customers and miners. This newly created role presents the opportunity to shape and improve our HSE systems and strategy in collaboration with the business, for this high performing sector.
This is an exciting time to join our Bulk Dangerous Goods business and bring prior experience of servicing the resource sector and facilitating high profile incident investigations and a deep understanding of the high standards and expectations required. You will support your team, understanding that your success is driven by theirs. Increase auditing activity, maintain our HSE Management system across all operations and participate in monthly management review forums with Senior leaders and Customers, presenting information from a safety lens. In turn we offer a robust support network in the broader HSE team, strong operational discipline across your sector and a mature safety culture. **Qualifications**:
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and / or other relevant discipline.
- Tertiary HSE qualifications (highly desirable)
- Dangerous Goods qualifications/ training (desirable)
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have multiple years' experience in a hands-on and strategic safety leadership role.
- Come from a sector that has a strong resources interface with experience servicing the mining industry ideally.
- Knowledge and experience of Bulk Dangerous Goods transportation is preferred though not essential
- Possess the ability to travel as required interstate, though will manage your own travel requirements in conjunction with the business needs.
