**About the role**:
Our client are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Communications Advisor to join the team on a nine month maternity leave contract. As the Communications Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Communications, Community and communications team to deliver the internal and external strategic communications strategy across all communication channels and businesses.

This is a broad role which will provide support for all communication activities. This includes maintaining internal communication channels and providing assistance where necessary for activities including but not limited to, the production of written and digital content, search engine optimisation, website management, social media advertising, internal and external events, delivery of sponsorship and media activation activities, maintaining media and stakeholder lists and digital channels.

**Other key responsibilities include**:

- Assist in the implementation and execution of the media relations program and social media strategy including social media planning and advertising.
- Support the implementation of internal communications strategy: develop content, organise events and activities.
- Support the implementation and activation of the sponsorship and stakeholder engagement strategy as required, including writing communications materials, working with graphic designers and implementing communications plans.

**About you**:

- Degree qualified in Communications, Public Relations or relevant.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar Communications / PR role.
- Highly professional with a mature approach to best practice communications and engagement.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to respond to and escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and able to liaise with the public and internal stakeholders at all levels.
