**About the role**:
In this role, you will provide one-on-one support to NDIS participants from diverse backgrounds, working together to help meet their goals and needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the day-to-day support and personal development of clients accessing services operated by IES including in-home care, community support and social programs.
- Perform all duties with respect to client requirements and as outlined in the client support plan and care directives.
- Adhere to set roster and travel limitations to ensure continuity and compliance with client funding allocations.
- Empower choice and control by supporting clients in being at the centre of any decision-making process and enabling them to achieve the desired outcomes of their plans, goals, and aspirations in partnership with families and carers.
- Work according to established routines, methods, procedures, allocated duties and job-specific objectives within a defined policy or support plan and legislative/regulatory framework.
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality in the workplace in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure all aspects relevant to client support, needs and activities are communicated to the appropriate personnel (i.e. management, client liaison, case managers).

**Must haves**:

- Minimum of Cert 3 in Disability, Community Services or similar
- At **least two** years’ experience working in a similar role
- Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Valid Comprehensive car insurance
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Covid-19 Infection Control Module
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Knowledge of the NDIS Code of Conduct and Quality and Safeguards
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality Safety and You'.

**Highly desirable**
- Manual Handling
- PEG feeding Certificate
- Seizure Management Training
- Medication Competency
- Hoist Experience and/or
- 12 months working with people with complex disabilities
- Experience with Behaviour Support / Complex needs.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week
