**The Opportunity**
- Work within transport planning project teams to support project delivery through data analysis, automation/scripting, operational/strategic modelling, report writing, and developing solutions for infrastructure and planning projects.
- Take responsibility for small discrete packages of work within transport planning projects.
- Ensure the quality of your work by checking it prior to senior review, consistent with Arup’s Quality Management System.
- Collaborate productively with the wider team and seek opportunities to support their work.
- Prioritise and organise your work to meet the time and quality demands of team/projects.

**Is this role right for you?**

- Recognised tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as engineering, transport planning, mathematics, economics, computer science, statistics, or physics.
- Experience with operational traffic modelling software including Aimsun, VISSIM, and intersection analysis tools like SIDRA.
- Basic programming, GIS, and spatial analysis skills, such as Python or ArcGIS, QGIS.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience in transport planning or modelling, ideally within a consulting business environment.
- Effective written communication and report writing skills, with the ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments.
