- CBCHS Adult Community Options Day Services are run from multiple sites across the south eastern suburbs, two unique Parkdale sites, Edithvale, Clayton South and Cheltenham. Central Bayside Community Health Services (CBCHS) - Adult Community Options (ACO) team has an exciting new role opportunity for a compassionate and motivated ACO Disability Day Services Manager.
- We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic and passionate ACO Day Services Manager to work collectively and enhance our team on full time permanent basis. Providing a hybrid working model for work life balance, with no late nights or weekend work required. We support people with a range of abilities, from independent, high and complex support needs.
- This position will provide strong leadership and motivation to staff whilst effectively managing operational management, with a sound understanding of the current trends and external environment to inform strategic direction.

CBCHS Adult Community Options team puts the individual client’s choice and control first. Protect, promote and uphold the rights of people with a disability. Delivering high quality outcomes for clients. Provides support to a range of people with a disability in all activities, including tasks that involve manual handling and personal hygiene.
- Focus on wellness based supports, mornings are based around meditation and low stimulating activities. The afternoon includes community and centred based activities. We welcome clients the freedom to be seen and heard.**Responsibilities**

Program Delivery- Ensure that ACO operations and services comply with NDIS guidelines, price guide and the legislative and reporting requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
- Oversee the ongoing review, implementation and evaluation of ACO’s NDIS Programs of Support (POS) and 1:1 centre-based supports ensuring that clients receive high quality supports to enhance their experience and meet their NDIS Plan outcomes.
- Ensure that service delivery is based on a foundation of client rights with a Zero Tolerance to Abuse.
- Review the monthly client invoicing, to ensure that operations are within the ACO budget ensuring the financial viability of the service.
- Ensure compliance obligations for ACO are adhered to, including statutory record keeping and reporting, incident reporting, OHS, feedback and complaints management with regulatory compliance.
- Oversee client movements, including the smooth transition of new clients, the departure of existing clients and correlating staffing ratio adjustments as needed.
Service Growth and Planning- Identify and advise on growth opportunities for ACO.
- Contribute to raising the profile of CBCHS NDIS services by strengthening relationships with the NDIA, NDS, the Brotherhood of St Laurence, Support Coordinators, and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure ACO adhere to the latest operational NDIS and other regulatory requirements by reading news alerts and attending conferences, seminars, and meetings.
Quality and Compliance- Ensure that ACO is compliant with NDIS and other relevant standards.
- Actively support the Manager - Disability Services with CBCHS wide initiatives and processes which include but are not limited to: Legislative compliance and Policy Development.
- Actively take part in the risk management process within ACO and CBCHS.
- Identify, develop, implement, and evaluate continuous quality improvement activities which include accreditation processes, risk management, complaints management, incident management and reporting, health and safety etc.
- Follow relevant legislation and guidelines for disability services, including the NDIS Code of Conduct, the Disability Act and the NDIS Act, Victorian Disability Worker Commission.
