City of Parramatta have an exciting leadership opportunity working in the Waste & Cleaning team as the Team Leader Cleansing.

**About the role**

As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team member by overseeing all activities, planning, organising and deciding how to accomplish set tasks, goal setting and distribution of information.

Key Responsibilities:

- Undertake the day-to-day management of staff and their assigned tasks.
- Undertake planning, goal setting, task, and resource allocation for the team, to ensure a program of works are completed effectively.
- Ensure completion of all necessary administration functions.
- Mentor new starters and others within the team.
- Work alongside a team member to complete daily works such as litter picking, pressure washing, amenities cleaning within the public domain.

**About You**

**We are looking for someone with**:

- Current MR Driver’s license
- White card
- Previous experience leading a team.
- Ability to undertake the physical requirements of the role.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage and coordinate daily work schedules
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstancesAbility to work as part of a team.

We are offering an attractive remuneration of $66,127.91 plus 11.5% superannuation.
