**THE WHO, THE WHAT AND THE WHERE**
Our client owns and runs a well-known marketing business and is needing some assistance organising her life in all areas, personal and business. And when we say some assistance, we mean A LOT. A role like this is rare and will present a once in a lifetime opportunity to work for this incredibly successful and down to earth businesswoman. Don’t be mistaken, this is not a “cushy” job and will take a special type of person to whip this list of tasks into very organised chaos.
It’s a casual, fun kind of vibe and involves sometimes working in the office and jumping in your car when needed. You will need to be constantly on your toes, with priorities chopping and changing as quickly as the latest marketing trends. This career woman already has a full team behind her, but what we are really looking for is someone to oversee all day-to-day business, personal life stuff AND keep the office ticking along nicely - “are we out of milk?” it a question never to be heard again. The owner is a ball of energy, and the team are focused, dynamic, approachable. If you think you can bring that same kind of energy in an ever-changing environment, keep reading.
**WHAT’S INVOLVED?**
Here is a small snippet of what’s in store:
- Significant diary management and coordination of meetings
- Be an extension of the MD - identify roadblocks and stresses and do what you can to take them away - give her more time to mentor, to build the business, to consult
- Get to know clients in-depth - know who they are, and the work done for them so you can look after them
- Constructing proposals and presentations (of course there are good templates ready to go)
- Do your part in fostering a positive, energetic culture, be a part of the team, join in on how the celebrate, trust us it's fun
- Coordinate ‘all things admin’ - get the milk and mail, check the stationery, build supplier relationships, manage quotes, be the IT triage and first line of IT support
- Manage client agreements
- Manage internal processes such as capacity estimation reporting and team meetings
- Be the face and voice of the company - greet clients, answer phones - warmth would be the key word here
- Provide admin support for the team

You’ve probably gathered by now this role requires more than just some good juggling skills, but getting to work alongside this amazing, highly driven woman is invaluable.

- An understanding of finances to provide a snap shot of things that are needing attention and what can wait

- The ability to change lanes quickly and efficiently, picking up all the pieces on the way through
- An understanding of the marketing industry
- Great time management
- Reliability
- Someone who can remain cooler than a cucumber in the Antarctic in times of stress
- The ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality
- The ability to build trust through capability and communication
- Confident enough to ask questions and solve problems, but humble enough to do things another way
- Able to shift priorities on the fly
