**About the opportunity**:
The Residential ArchiCad Draftsperson is part of the Brighton Homes Drafting team and reports to the Drafting Manager. The key focus of this role is to amend and produce accurate drawings within specified timeframes in line with the customer’s requests, Council regulations, Building Codes and company standards. More specifically, you will:

- Prepare draft sales plans and working drawings that incorporate house siting's, floor plans, elevations, internal drawings, plumbing and slab layouts
- Production of working construction drawings including reviews and corrections for the developer and council approval ensuring compliance
- Partner with multiple internal stakeholders including building design sales consultants, estimators, colour selection consultants and compliance teams to achieve compliant documents
- Problem solving construction and drafting related matters

**About you**
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will:

- Drafting experience in a volume residential home construction environment
- Understanding of the related construction practices
- Knowledge of all current codes and regulations including The Queensland Development Code (QDC) Including Small Lot Code, Regional Council Planning Schemes, Developer Guidelines and Developer Plan of Developments (POD).
- Proficiency in a 3D drawing program (Ideally ArchiCAD)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills, both verbal and written
