Applications are invited from suitably qualified dietitians for a 1.0 EFT permanent Grade 2 dietitian at Footscray Hospital. This newly created role has a major focus on identifying and managing patients with Malnutrition across the hospital, aligned with the Western Health Malnutrition Strategy. The inpatient caseload will be in a range of units including Colorectal surgery and Respiratory Medicine. This role will also be the primary cover for either ICU/ Head & Neck or Upper GI surgery.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic dietitian to join a cohesive and integrated team, committed to excellence in clinical practice, research and professional development.
Must have, or be currently eligible for, membership of Dietitians Association of Australia.
**To be Successful in this Role you**
- Have acute clinical experience
- Preferably, have some experience in managing surgical patients.
- Highly desirable is some TPN experience
- Preferably, have previously supervised students.
