**The Position**

Reporting to the Head of Workplace Health & Safety and working as part of a broader WHS group, you will develop, implement and review a robust health and safety management system aligned with ISO45001 standards and foster collaborative relationships across the organisation. Based in their East Brisbane office, this role will be more office-based working on systems and projects, with less ‘boots on the ground’ type work. Some travel will be required however, this will be on an ad hoc basis throughout Queensland and New South Wales.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the Head of Workplace Health & Safety and site WHS teams in the creation of the Health & Safety System for the organisation, including drafting or adapting policies, creating forms, reports etc.
- Coordination of Health & Safety reporting across the organisation, working with the WHS Manager to obtain data and collate into WHS Dashboards for presentation to the Executive Leadership Team and Board;
- Project lead implementation of WHS software platforms, including understanding requirements from sites, stakeholders, and training teams to implement and drive adoption of new platforms;
- Draw insightful conclusions from data, transforming data to analytics and by performing system reviews;
- Monitor internal and external trends to identify opportunities for improvement or change, including staying up to date with legislative reforms.

**Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrated working experience in a workplace health & safety role focused on improvement in WHS Management systems;
- Project and change management skills to lead the implementation of WHS software platforms, and ability to present information in a clear and concise manner;
- Strong relationship building ability with confidence to manage expectations and facilitate cooperation;
- Ability to identify problems, evaluate risks, and propose effective solutions.
