What to Expect
- As Warehouse and Logistics Manager Au and NZ your role will be to oversee and optimize the operations of our warehouse facilities in Australia and New Zealand. As the Warehouse and Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Parts Distribution Centre leaders, Channel Planning, implementing efficient logistics strategies, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout the supply chain. Your primary goal will be to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high standards of safety and quality in all warehouse operations.
What You’ll Do
- Work with warehouse managers to implement and develop process to improve KPI's, efficiency and cost saving at sites.
- Ensure accurate inventory is maintained across all locations and improve storage within our warehouses, reporting on inventory and keeping it up to date, minimizing loss.
- Develop, execute and maintain effective logistic strategies to streamline the movement of goods with the end customer as the priority.
- Monitor and analyze transportation, warehouse and channel planning performance metrics and identify areas of improvement.
- Ensure compliance is being met.
- Develop and expand our warehouse network across Australia and New Zealand.
- Ensure stock levels at our distribution centers is high and replenishment consistent.
- Continuously improve the warehousing and logistics operation, service level, and fill rate KPIs.
- Main KPIs in this org are inventory accuracy, order fulfilment rate, warehouse utilization, on time delivery target, pick and pack accuracy, productivity, transportation cost per unit, safety incident rate, new site opening target dates, inventory health, damaged or incorrect deliveries.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in warehouse management and logistics, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Channel Planning experience at a Country and Regional level
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of warehouse and logistics professionals.
- Proficiency in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and optimizing processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards in the Australian logistics industry.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software and logistics systems.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Current forklift license and other relevant certifications are advantageous.
