**THE ROLE**

The Insights Lead will use their advanced understanding of procurement reporting obligations (internal and external) as well as their advanced understanding of data visualisation tools (excel, Tableau, Power BI etc) to ensure that all Procurement insights are delivered in a timely manner at the highest level of quality and integrity.

This role ensures that insights and analytics generated from our data can be relied upon for accuracy and completeness. Managing access to our visualisations in line with Origin’s directives ensures compliance with Information Management obligations. Providing insights to support Procurement performance metrics as well as business unit and function data demands, this role creates visibility of key metrics required to understand Procurement spend, to meet both internal and external (regulatory) requirements.

Examples of the work involved will be to:

- Maintain and deliver the existing suite of Procurement reports and visualisations in line with the weekly, monthly, bi-annual, annual schedule of deliverables for both internal and external reporting obligations
- Mature Procurement analytics capability through the provision of analytical content and insights across the full portfolio of procurement spend
- Delivery of the production (including data collation, collaboration across contributing Origin teams and assurance of data) and timely submission of all legal or regulatory required reports, including the end-to-end Payment Times Reporting Scheme (PTRS) obligations
- Ensuring regular assurance activities and delivery of remediation and/or improvement opportunities identified for data in all Procurement reporting systems to maintain compliance with reporting obligations and ensure the security and accuracy of the data sources being integrated into our analytics solution
- Delivery of initiatives to drive greater maturity and quality across all procurement reports, visualisations and insights by building robust, sustainable and effective analytical solutions (including testing and training)
- Co-ordination of updates to the procurement reporting and analytics framework and process documentation, ensuring all materials are updated to reflect any changes made

**IS THIS YOU?**

You’ll need to have exceptional data management and stakeholder collaboration skills demonstrated at all levels within and across teams

Additionally, to be shortlisted you will have:

- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience within a Procurement, Reporting, Data and Analytics discipline
- Demonstrable experience with data structures and complex data manipulation
- Functional demonstratable knowledge of data and analytical solutions, specifically:

- Data modelling and design
- Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes
- Data visualisation concepts (including best practices)
- Visualisation tools (Excel, Tableau, MS Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud etc)
