As the **Manager, Business Operations and Planning **you will be driving programs and collaborating across the Business Marketing to enable and unlock team performance.

You will focus on planning, performance and operational excellence and play a crucial role in:

- Ensuring cohesion across the Business Marketing team to maintain focus and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Developing reporting and insights capabilities to track and communicate success.
- Promoting operational excellence within the team, enabling efficient delivery of program, media and marketing plans.

Business Marketing is a Centre of Excellence (CoE) within the Marketing and Corporate Affairs function at CommBank. As an integral part of Group Marketing, the Business Marketing team’s role is to deliver strategy and communication across our business customer segments, channels and lines of business.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Help craft and communicate the Business Marketing strategy and quarterly priorities.
- Provide strategic and operational support for the leadership team to enable prioritisation and effective delivery against strategic plan (time, people and budgets).
- Build robust analysis, insights and reporting to demonstrate marketing value, providing insights for tracking to key business objectives and results, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with other business functions such as strategy, operations, finance, data and insights across both MCA and Business to drive shared outcomes.
- Work closely with business marketers to embed and optimise customer and media insights into marketing campaigns.
- Bring a pragmatic and balanced approach to critically assessing our processes to ensure we are driving efficiency within the team whilst balancing execution excellence.
- Management of business critical risk issues and incidents to improve operating effectiveness and to meet our regulatory requirements.
- Providing operational support for essential event technology platforms, business critical processes and key risk controls
- Reporting and management of core operational functions such as FTE tracking and budgets.

- Experience in integrated marketing and communications with a focus on strategy and planning.
- Experience interacting with stakeholders of all levels within large, complex organisations, overcoming structural barriers and influencing to effect change and drive continuous improvement.

- A proactive self-starter who is process-driven and structured in their thinking. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and motivated by driving change for the benefit of the broader team.
- Team player attitude that is flexible, open to change, and willing to give and receive feedback through constructive challenge to drive better outcomes.
- Creative and independent problem-solving skills, a critical thinker with a solutions/growth mindset to overcome hurdles.
- Analytical and strong verbal and written communication skills - ability to communicate complexity in an accessible way.
- Strong project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for numbers, CRM and Excel.
- Risk mindset - proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks through a pragmatic approach.
